Minehead Badminton Club is a brand new badminton club set up in 2025 by local enthusiasts and advanced players looking to bring a competitive-level of badminton back to the West Somerset area.
About Us
Minehead Badminton Club is a new and growing club based at the West Somerset College Community Sports Centre in Minehead. We’re all about combining the fun of sociable play with a good level of competition — perfect for intermediate/advanced players who want to enjoy their badminton and improve their game.
We meet once a week on Monday evenings, attracting players from across Minehead, Exmoor, and surrounding areas. Our club nights are relaxed and friendly, but the pace on court is geared towards those with playing experience who have achieved a good level of skill.
We’re proudly affiliated with Badminton England and are aiming to enter local league competitions soon. Looking for a competitive edge without losing the fun?
Key Information
→ Club nights: Monday evenings from 8pm - 9:30pm.
→ We play with Hybrid feather shuttles (included in membership).
→ Our club is affiliated to Badminton England.
→ We are currently open to visitors and new members.
